Athletic Starting Position

The player sets up in an athletic position. The legs are flexed and the front shoulder is pointing to a target which is an appropriate distance away. The pitching arm is positioned at the side of the body with ball in hand and wrist completely flexed towards the outfield. The glove holds the forearm in place.

Athletic Finishing Position

The player sets up in an athletic position. The legs are flexed and the front shoulder is pointing to a target which is an appropriate distance away. The pitching arm is positioned at the side of the body. The player snaps the wrist and ball to the target with the ball coming off the fingertips. The hand ends with the fingertips completely extneded towards the target. The glove holds the forearm in place.
