Back To The Base

As the ball travels to the right fielder in the air, the base runner immediately returns to the base. She places her left foot on the base and opens her hips slightly so she can look over her left shoulder towards the ball. She's in an athletic position ready to push off and sprint to third base.

Push And Drive

After the ball enters the right fielders glove, the base runner pushes off the base with her left foot. Her hips and shoulders start to square towards third base. She remains in a low athletic position.

The Catch

As the ball enters the right fielders glove, the base runner pushes off the base with her left foot. She remains in a low athletic position.

Square To Third

The base runner completes getting her hips and shoulders square to third base. She remains in a low athletic position.

Sprint To Third

The base runner sprints to third base with her hips and shoulders square to the base. She remains in a low athletic position with her eyes on the base.
